Subtle Voicebuds debut at CES 2026 with AI-driven technology to transcribe whispers and filter out noise, transforming how we use voice commands in silent or chaotic settings.
At CES 2026, the startup Subtle is introducing a pair of wireless earbuds that promise to revolutionize voice input in noisy or quiet environments. The Subtle Voicebuds feature a custom AI model designed to transcribe text from whispers and filter out background noise, making them ideal for dictation and voice commands in challenging settings.
For professionals who rely on voice input for note-taking, messaging, or controlling virtual assistants, the Subtle Voicebuds offer a significant upgrade over existing solutions:

I had the opportunity to test the Voicebuds in the chaotic environment of the CES Unveiled show floor, where ambient noise levels were extremely high. Despite the cacophony, the Voicebuds accurately transcribed several sentences at my normal speaking volume. Subtle CEO Tyler Chen also demonstrated the device's whisper-to-text capability in a quiet room, successfully dictating several sentences while barely audible.
The Subtle Voicebuds represent a significant step forward in voice input technology. By combining advanced AI transcription with effective noise cancellation, they offer a practical solution for professionals who need reliable dictation tools in various environments. Whether you're whispering notes in a quiet room or shouting commands over the din of a busy street, these earbuds are designed to keep up.
